Why this album didn’t recieve a full release in the U.S. is beyond me.  Apparently in the U.S., you can only get it on vinyl, while Japan and Korea recieved full releases with hard copy CDs and everything.  This is definitely the best Andrew W.K. album.  I once told Teddy that, while “I Get Wet” is crazy like a kid with ADD, Close Calls is crazy like a serial killer whose weapon of choice is a plastic butter knife.  The keyboard work in this album is some of the best I’ve ever heard in rock.  The lyrics aren’t as generic as those in “I Get Wet”, but keep in mind, this is still a party rock album.  Andrew W.K. really let’s loose and does what he does best here and it’s worth a download if you’re interested.  It’s a perfect appetite surpressant while we all patiently wait for “55 Cadillac”.

I think it’s also worth noting that this CD really doesn’t get nearly as many listeners as it should.  I actually had to upload that song to youtube so you could hear it without having to see a shitty Trigun AMV.

THIS ALBUM IS IN 320kbps.  IT’S A CERTIFIED WINNER IN MY BOOK!

    • Yeah it is. The first song isn’t though, for some reason.
