Shugo Tokumaru-Rum Hee

Experimental Pop

Shugo Tokumaru shits gold. That’s really the best way to describe his god-like consistency in his albums. The man just shits gold. Every album he makes is good, and last year provided with the masterful pop album “Exit”. Now Shugo is back with “Rum Hee” still in the same vein of “Exit”. The title track makes me feel like I’m in a warm house while it’s raining outside. I suspect most people had strange feelings like this listening to “Exit”, and “Rum Hee” is no different. My only complaint is that it’s short, too short. And the last few songs are remixes. Maybe this is an EP and I just didn’t pick up on it? Whatever, still really great.
