I love bands with imagination. Creativity is a high aspect in which I judge a band or an artist with. Logan Whitehurst tops my personal list in imagination and creativity. His lyrics tell stories about obscure people, places, things, etc. and are mixed with a load of goofiness. There’s also an added mix of just plain weird shit, including a 40 something seconds song “Bubba’s Throat” in which Logan coughs and then exclaims, “That’s hard on my throat!” This is all offset by Logan’s cheery music, done with simple keyboards, drums, bass, and guitar. Though he incorporates the accordion and unusual bleeps and bloops. Logan also found humor in silly things. He has a parody of get rich quick TV products. He dubs his product “Farkle”, an unnamed product that does just about everything, including keeping our American boy’s spirits up during WW2. But how could such an amazing album be completed by a mere man? Well the truth is it wasn’t. Vanilla The Plastic Snowman, Logan’s sidekick, (or perhaps Logan is Vanilla’s sidekick????) who wrote most of the music you listen to today! Including Ok Computer, every song for They Might Be Giants, and loads of other bands. Vanilla decided to take on the task of writing songs for The Junior Science Club. On the serious side of things I should mention Logan passed away from brain cancer. I know that is highly irrelevant but if you enjoyed this then please tell your friends because the promotion for this man is not going to happen anytime soon. If you are a serious music listener this album is not for you, however if you want a funny, nonsensical album then download this.

P.S. read the comments about the tagging

  2. Well this is going to be hard to follow but I might as well try. I’m going by the tags. Logan tagged this album as Jr. but then later changed it to Junior. He never said which tag he wanted this album to be. As for The Death of a Dreamer, I’m not sure which is right, which is why I went with the tag. The archive of Logan stuff I got it from says it’s The Death of a Dreamer while has both. I’m letting YOU pick because the Logan Whitehurst music archive says it one way and says it another. Perhaps I should have said that the choice is yours in the description? Now I would ask Logan all of this but he is not living at the moment. Also calling me a lazy fuckface is a little arrogant and doushey especially when I’m providing you the album.
